Advancing Australia Fair is a retrospective exhibition tracking the pardigm shift in Australian values, policies and international relations pursued by the Australian Hawke government between 1983–1991. Working closely with the Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre and the Hawke Library at the University of South Australia, the exhibition was designed to present the diverse achievements of the government across a range of themes, from educational access, to Aboriginal advancement, gender equality, Medicare, the saving of the Franklin River and Kakadu, the lifting of trade barriers and the furthering of Australia's relationship with China.
